After posting about Peyton's big performance in CTE's production of "The Jungle Book," it only seems fair to post about Allison's big performance in "Picking Flowers" her spring ballet recital. The prep for not just the show, but the dress rehearsal the previous day AND for pictures the week prior took a ton of energy and patience (for Steve who has now perfected the ballet bun - no sense in both us having that skill!), but the build-up to the end where the dancers got to throw their flowers out to the audience was worth the wait. Allison's dance lasted about 1.5 minutes in all and she loved each of those approximately 90-seconds she was on the stage performing. It was a fun dance and a special memory for Allison. The fan fare that followed was pretty neat, too!
