Allison's Sunflower

Allison planted a sunflower seed (in a dixie cup) while on her field trip to the GRuB Farm last spring.  She carefully and dutifully watered it indoors, before relocating it outside in a larger pot, and finally into the dirt, where, despite the odds, it continued to thrive throughout the summer.  It has now seen better days, but what a burst of joy it added to our summer days!
