After the week we had, all the excitement in Disneyland over the weekend, and the first day of school, I thought that when the day of your actual birthday arrived, September 6th, it might feel underwhelming. If it was, you didn't show it.
Maybe it was because we were still running on our adrenalin high. Maybe it was because we had family coming for dinner and we still had presents and cake and balloons to mark the day. Maybe it was because turning 10 is such an exciting, big deal.
With all the unknowns,
one thing remains constant...YOU.
YOU are one super 10-year old and I love you, no matter what.
