December 2, 2019 - Allison was thrilled that choir opened up for 2nd and 3rd graders this year. She has enjoyed the responsibility of going to rehearsal during one recess a week and was asked to be one of a handful of student speakers to introduce a song at the winter concert. Peyton continues to enjoy choir as well, rehearsing with other dedicated 4th and 5th graders, during 2 recesses a week. He was also asked to introduce a song. Both kids took this as a compliment from their choir teacher for their dedication, maturity and capability, which I'm sure it was. I know there were more than a few butterflies before we left the house, but once they were among their friends and under the guidance of their teacher, both kids settled down and did great. Their music was wonderful and festive. It was a great kick-off to our holiday season!
