Steve and I were able to enjoy a long overdue date night last Saturday, thanks to my dad, who stepped in to babysit our Little Dude. It was our joint birthday/valentine celebration. Grandpa came over mid-afternoon so we could head to an early movie (Avatar) and dinner. It was heavenly to just sit in the dark theater, next to my hubby, in the middle of the day, with no worries or cares, except for the irrational fear that the characters were going to leap out at me. It was that intense. 3-D viewing is a whole new movie experience!
On Sunday, we enjoyed quality time with our funny little valentine! Peyton is one incredible little guy. The things he says and does make me laugh and brighten even the gloomiest of days. Everyday he is uttering more (almost) audible words and trying to do "big boy" things. Our lives have become so much richer because Peyton is in it.
