Happy Halloween

Yesterday, (a lazy, dreary Saturday), we had lofty goals:

Stay in pj's as long as possible. Check.

Carve Pumpkin. Check.

Dress for the neighborhood Halloween Parade. Check.

Pose with neighbor kids for picture. Check.

Participate in Parade. Uncheck.
Making a quick get-a-way towards home!

Peyton was quite excited to hop outside in his kangroo costume, despite the rain, to meet up with the neighbors. We even discussed that they would be in costume - princesses, super-hero's, possibly even some scary costumes - but will we be scared? No! Because it's just pretend. This was evidently less scary in theory and within the confines of our house. It was all good fun until Spiderman made his appearance. I think it was the fact that Spiderman was the only kid with a full mask. Whatever the reason, Spiderman really put the fear in our son. It was too much to bear and so the parade went on without us.

Happy Halloween!
