Kirkwood Mountain Ski Vacation - January 7-12, 2011 - So much to do, so little time!
Sightseeing:

I thought this was a cool pictures and yes, that is a wedding dress!

Sledding - Anywhere, anytime!

On the balcony.
On the slopes.

On your bottom, on your side, on your tummy...

...with or without a sled!
Playtime with Daddy!

Peyton's first ski day!

Away they go!

What goes up, must also come back down!

After asking to ride the chair lift all week (he remembered doing so last summer in Whistler) we decided to give it a go. The 45-minute adventure (not to mention the almost 2 hours prior to the big event just trying to get out the door and then gear up) included 3 rides up the chair and 3 rides down the bunny slope. When asked what his favorite thing about skiing was, Peyton consistently responds, "Trying on my boots." Further observation by Peyton's Daddy would reveal that the chairlift ride was a close second and being carried down the slopes in the big, strong arms of Daddy wasn't so bad either. No tears and we quit just in time to have hot cocoa with lunch. So, there you go. Success.
Snowshoeing up Red Cliffs.

Ah, the good life!
