So much of what we plan and do around here is for our entertainment, or Peyton's. Allison certainly gets some value out of our excursions, I'm sure, getting the best view perched way up high in the backpack, or reclined in her stroller. She's very easy to just pack along on our adventures. However, it occurred to me the other day that I have planned very little, maybe nothing, the sole reason being an outing for Allison. Sensing a rare moment of impulse pumping through my veins, I packed up the kids one day last week and took them to the farm. Since Allison enjoys mimicking the sounds she hears all around her, especially animal noises, I knew she would enjoy the trip. We all did.
