October 17, 2015 - "A Salute to Disney" - a dental benefit show.
The much anticipated night has come and gone - The annual Union Gospel Mission benefit concert. We have been supporting Steve through his many rehearsal for weeks (and years). Steve stepped out of his comfort zone this year. Instead of just singing, he dared to sing AND dance. Choreographed by a couple of semi-professional dancers, Steve and his dance/singing partner performed "Love Is An Open Door," from Frozen. They definitely put in the extra time and it showed as they (almost) effortlessly lit up the stage with their animation, twirls, lifts and vocals. To say the kids enjoyed seeing their dad on stage among their favorite Frozen (and other Disney) characters would be an understatement. A picture with Anna and Elsa after the show the perfect end to a memorable night.
