It was a gorgeous, warm, fall day and rain was in the foreseeable forecast. I picked the kids up from school and we headed over to Schilter's Family Farm for an afternoon outing and took the opportunity to choose our pumpkins for future carving. We sure packed a lot of fun into one short afternoon. Late afternoon, mid-week, is a great time to avoid the crowds. Since Allison and I had already experienced the joys of the farm earlier in the month, I'm so thankful that we made a return trip with Peyton. Hooray for fall traditions!
