Only moments after we arrived on the first day, Peyton crawled to the staircase, glanced up casually and then much to our surprise, crawled right up 3 stairs! Maybe I should have packed a baby gate?
Who needs toys, when you can play with Grandpa's exercise equipment?Note to self: buy a ball to invest in family fun!
Beach combing. For some wonderful reason - maybe all the peace and quiet, or the fact that he was so overly exhausted from his previous couple of weeks of non-stop crawling and monkeying around, or perhaps because he was sleeping in his pack-n-play which created a closed-in, swaddle-like, cozy feeling, but alas, we'll never know - Peyton slept like a champ. He went right down for naps without a peep and snoozed for several long hours at a time and still maintained his generous 12-hour nighttime sleep pattern for us. He was delightful. It was delightful.
Thanks, Mom & Dad for sharing a piece of paradise with us.
