I feel like we pushed pause on our busy lives and enjoyed moment to moment on Memorial Day. After a relaxing morning at home, in pajamas, we managed to get ourselves dressed and out of the door. We visited Papa and the Howe and Parr great-grandparents, at the cemetery, on our way to my parents' house. The kids helped Grandma plant her vegetable garden, and we all enjoyed beach time, dinner on the deck and s'mores in Grandpa's fire-pit. Sometimes we need to slow down and spend the day moment to moment. Memorial day was one of those days.
