While we did not make it to the actual, organized Women's March last month, it did not pass by unnoticed. I wanted to demonstrate the importance, as I have the previous two years, by making it a priority in our busy lives, even when it's inconvenient. And then, it was inconvenient timing. I feel guilty that we did not represent this year by showing up in person. We did, however, engage in a family discussion to remind ourselves why we should march and we even went so far as to dig out last years' signs and take a family walk around the neighborhood (we left the signs at home) to remember why we march.
We march EVERY day for...
Peyton: "Rights for All."
Allison: "For people who need special help being heard."
