Last week we escaped to Maui for a week in paradise! It took us most of 3 days to get acclimated and organized enough to leave the resort. Regardless of our new vacationer status - "family traveling with baby" - we still figured out how to relax a lot, adventure a little and have fun too; albeit a new, redefined version of vacation relaxation, adventure and fun. Some of us had to manage our vacation expectations a bit...Expectations in check, a good time was had by all! Too soon the trip was over and we were back home enjoying another (and another) dusting of snow here in the Pacific Northwest. Brrr.
Here are a few trip highlights:

Putting Peyton down for a nap at 4pm that lasted until 8:30...Steve and I decide at 8:25 that we should take advantage of the time alone...another missed opportunity!
