Snapping the Strap

It seems that boys are just born with the annoying ability to snap the strap. Peyton is quite proud and entertained with his new found ability to pull and release the bra strap of yours truly. To illustrate a bit further, but not too much more to maintain the innocent nature of the content of this blog, this activity is a favorite of baby Barracuda's while enjoying an afternoon snack. So, yes, while attached to my breast he reaches up and grabs the strap that goes over my shoulder. He seems to inspect his fist to ensure he has a strong grip. Then, he steadily moves his arm away from our bodies, and then further still, before the sudden release and snap of the strap. Sometimes he quickly sneaks his hand back up on my strap before my own reaches it and much to his delight he gets another satisfying snap of the strap before "Operation Shut Down" goes into effect. Amazingly, he is coordinated enough to grab, stretch and release his hand without ever releasing his jaw. I suppose I should just be thankful he is still a toothless Barracuda. Imagine the tricks he might try to pull once he has teeth! Oh my!!
