Why: A reunion of sorts.

Analisa Cabe, The Newlyweds: Kristi (Cabe) & Todd Bramble, Amy (Pemerl) Myhre, Faye Riley, Lisa (Staley) Cacal, and Steve and I got together at our place last night. Sadly, the only pictures I have are those imprinted in my mind. I didn't capture a single laugh, smile or kid on camera. Shame on me! Maile Cacal did however, completely unknowingly, find Steve's "little black book" from high school - the other kind of black book - his photo album with all of our senior photos inside. Too funny!
Peyton, who goes to bed at 6pm, slept through the entire celebration. No amount of noise, and there was plenty of it, seemed to rouse him. While he doesn't nap, he sure can sleep at night!
We had a wonderful evening and were reminded yet again about the power of friendships. While some of us have managed to meet up here and there over the years, timing and distance has prevented all of us from getting together at one time and place. Last night, the stars aligned. Despite time, distance, marriages and babies, friends just stick by you.
Same great friends. Same great fun.
