Summer is officially here

Even though the first day of summer was officially on the 21st and even though the first hot and sunny day was officially on the 22nd, summer didn't officially arrive at our house until today. Today was the big day because...

1. I took Peyton to get his summer haircut this morning (and so did everyone else here in the South Sound, it seems); and

2. Peyton and I went swimming at our athletic club's outdoor pool (and so did everyone else her in the South Sound, it seems).

Yep, summer is here at last.
