Peyton chose a sleep-over with Grama and Grampa instead of a babysitter in Seattle. So, for the first time probably since her birth, or thereafter, Steve and I hopped into the car with only Allison in tow. Ella's nanny graciously agreed to watch both babies for the evening, while the weary parents headed out for a night in the big city. We enjoyed a delicious meal at Lola and then an intense and lively performance of American Idiot at The Paramount. We had a blast and loved our time with Gavin and Hazel - kid free!
The next morning was relaxing and leisurely and completely kid friendly! While we missed the company and energy of our Little Dude, it was a nice change of pace for us to just focus on our one kiddo. Allie is a blessed and loved little girl, but if there was one thing she doesn't get much of, it's undivided attention. She sure got her share of that from us on Saturday!
Of course we didn't capture any pictures of our big night on the town. We did, however, take another gazillion photos of the baby girls. They are now quite curious about one another, so they are fun to watch. We spent a lot of time doing just that.
