After a nice Thanksgiving day with the Russell's, we enjoyed a day of relaxing at home. Then, we headed north to enjoy some family time with the Parr's, and to kick-off the Christmas season with some holiday cheer.
Dinnertime entertainment: kids driving cars (with Dexter Starr).
Post dinner walk to the waterfront to watch the Christmas boats.
| Peyton searching for lights out on the water. |
| Obligatory family photo. |
| Listening to water running through pipes under the road was evidently more interesting than festive holiday boats and music out on the water. |
| Auntie Hazel and Allie cuddling up to stay warm. |
| One of several paddle boarders (and a kayaker), who were part of the Christmas boat festivities, coming off the water. |
Our family took in some fresh air during Ella's nap time and visited one of our favorite places in Seattle, Gavin and Hazel's neighborhood park!
| Family swing time. |
| Allie enjoying the fall leaves and pleasures of roaming a playground. |
| A sandbox loaded with trucks...the #1 reason we LOVE this park! |
Play time with all of Ella's new birthday toys was a blast!
Play time turned into picture time, of course.
| Let's see if we can get all 3 kids to pose for the camera at the same time... |
| ...or not. These 3 had a different idea. |
| Note to self, do not wait until it's past nap time and well past time to go home to attempt a photo shoot. |
We're ready (or not). Bring on the holidays!
