Yesterday, we enjoyed a lovely day at the bay. Gavin, Hazel, Ella, Lori and Rose all came down. The sun was shining and we brought the paddle boards and kayaks out for some water play. Gavin and Rose tried out the paddle boards for the first time and Peyton and Ella both took their first rides in a kayak. No one fell in. Everyone had fun. Success!
The girls continued their trend of opposite nap schedules, but they did manage to enjoy a bit of beach time with Grama. Then, once back at the house, we brought out the sprinkler to rinse the beach muck off the kiddos. The sprinkler was short lived since Peyton made a noodle creation over the top. The curious girls followed his lead, of course.
A bon fire and s'mores were a nice way to end our day down at the bay!
