Saturday morning was the rainiest, stormiest day we've had so far this fall. It was also the selected day for Peyton's first school field trip. Only about half of Peyton's preschool class was willing and available to venture out to Lattin's, the local pumpkin patch and cider mill. Despite the despicable weather, we had a great time meeting some of Peyton's classmates and their parents.
Highlights:
Puddle jumping;
Watching 2 pigs fight over the corn on the cob;
Feeding the goats;
Apple cider tasting;
Sharing an apple fritter;
Mud, glorious mud!
Oh, and getting a pumpkin was ok too, since it required stomping through thick mud and passing through many deep puddles to get there and back!
