A visit to the farm and pumpkin patch is such a fun, family outing this time of year, although finding a dry day can be a challenge. It was a foggy morning with a promising forecast for afternoon clearing and warm, sunny skies. Even though it was early in the season, or perhaps because it was early, before the farm was crowded with people (and rain), we headed out to Schilter's Family Farm to meet Betsy and Bennett. The kids enjoyed their first pony rides, a lift to the pumpkin patch in the tractor's wagon, hay mazes and jumping, and of course fun in the pumping patch. Ready or not, fall has arrived.
