A few weeks ago I had the pleasure of meeting Carter. Today, Carter came to visit us and so my kids enjoyed this meeting him for the first time. They were eager to hold him and surprisingly careful. I met Analisa, Carter's mom, in preschool. Not as parents of preschoolers. Not as teachers of preschoolers. Nope, this was a few years ago. We were the preschoolers. We've been friends ever since. I was so happy to see a new kind of friendship begin with our kiddos.
