As far as beach days go, it doesn't get much better than this. The day was hot. The skies were clear. We caught the tide on it's way out and enjoyed paddling around in the water before the tide got too low. Then, my kids gleefully played in the mud. Head to toe, they were covered. Once we hosed them down, they soaked in the hot tub and puttered around while we made dinner. Often the winds pick up in the evening and send us indoors, but not today. We were able to eat dinner on the deck and enjoy the glorious view. Always, life is busy. Lately, it's been confusing and difficult. Today, we felt peace and treasured each precious moment. To my father, the father of my kids, and all those important father's in our lives, I wish you a happy day, today and everyday!
