Party Time

While we spent more time in the car than we did enjoying the company of great friends, it was totally worth it. Natalie and Chris hosted their 3rd annual holiday party last Saturday and we dared to leave the house even though the weather was blustery, and the traffic was horrendous that night, to join our friends in Kirkland, in celebration of the holiday season. There was fabulous food, wine and of course the company was divine! Peyton made the trek with us and was a trooper considering we arrived at 6pm (his bedtime) and kept him up the whole 2 hours we were there. He was thrilled to discover there were big kids, stacking cups and a doggie to keep him entertained. All the adult attention wasn't too bad either. We're all still recovering from the big weekend and lack of sleep, but glad we didn't have to miss out because of the 60+ miles between us. Thank you, to Natalie and Chris, for hosting a wonderful party, and to all our friends for being so great (and for patiently waiting, continuing and waiting some more, between interruptions in our conversations, due to my 15 month old and my totally distracted mental state)!

  1. Glad you guys made the drive - thanks again for coming. One of the highlights of my night was watching Peyton stroll in the front door in his cute Christmas sweater! :)

Merry Christmas and See you next week.
